IF YOU ARE A COMPLETE BEGINNER ON GUITAR, AND WISH TO LEARN IN A SOCIABLE
ATMOSPHERE, AND AGED 18 – 80, THEN THIS COURSE IS FOR YOU.
Learn basic chords, guitar tablature, finger picking, scales, basic music theory,
barre chords, improvisation, open tunings, slide guitar, how to play in a
band/ensemble, and lots more. You will also enjoy learning a number of popular
songs from a variety of genres, from Folk, Blues, Rock and Roll, Classic Rock,
Ballads, and a great deal more.
The course is spread over 2 years (8 terms), at a cost of $175 per 10 week term. (Thats $17.50 for a 2 hour lesson).

A BIT ABOUT ME :- Hi my name is Rick, I have been playing guitar for 25 years, and teaching guitar for 15 years, 7 years in schools in the UK, and 8 years teaching private and Adult Education, in the Woodcroft, and Morphett Vale area. I teach most kinds of music, and specialize in complete beginners, to intermediate, with a 2 year plan to take you through to the stage where you can teach yourself almost anything you wish, from Blues through to Metal. I studied Music in the UK and gained a National Diploma in Music, I taught guitar in 2 schools where I taught up to GCSE exam level, and also taught school bands to play and perform together. I have played in several small bands in the UK, playing both Guitar and Bass, and have also performed as part of a duet, and as a solo performer. I have also busked my way round Europe. I am currently in an Acoustic band as rhythm and Vocalist. I also have played drums in a 60s Rock and Roll band, and Rhythm in a Rock band.
